Balance residential areas with production centres such as farms and mines. Build roads that will connect the corners of your domain, and upgrade the households from hovels to upmarket dwellings. As you play, you will see the city become a Roman splendour.

Ancient Rome 2 is designed to offer a broadly realistic picture of how a town from this era would have operated, using the sorts of buildings, communities and manufacturing bases that would have been found in ancient Rome. As your city grows in size, the game will grow increasingly complex. You will have to keep an eye on more and more aspects of the city, from making sure that food reaches the population to arranging for a constant stream of resources be mined for your manufacturing base.
